	Leah Sheves has a Masters Degree in Art and Ceramics from Columbia University in New York. Since then she is a ceramic artist living and working in Rehovot,Israel. She has participated in many exhibitions in Israel and abroad. Leah Sheves' ceramic art is influenced by local architecture. In her work she combines the simplicity of local Bauhaus architectural forms and the intricacy of oriental decorative design. Her ceramic art deals with the relationship between the three dimensional form and the two dimensional surface, aiming at making them integral parts of each other.
